Playroom Organization

Updated: Feb 11, 2022

Playrooms are a place where the fun happens for our little ones. However, for most parents, we fail to find that same happiness in keeping the space organized. I decided when my son was just a couple months old that I was not going to spend more time cleaning/organizing his play room than he spends playing. In order to do this I knew I would have to be intentional with my approach. Believe it or not it was WAY easier than I expected. I actually find so much joy in organizing and revamping my sons playroom.

Shelving: If you do not already use cube shelving I suggest you look into it. Not only can you find just about any color, texture or pattern to fit your playroom esthetic you can move these units around as much as you want without the heavy lifting. Another reason I love these is when the days come that I need to throw things somewhere out the way I can use those and no one notices.

Visuals: Having visuals for your little one are key to keeping things organized. This will help your little one and help you when it comes time to clean up. Allowing them to take charge during clean up with the help of visuals is soooo rewarding! I use visuals for pretty much everything even where Jace should hang his coat!
